Services
Initial consultation
The first visit is used to get to know each other and the environment of our dental office.
During this visit, we will perform a thorough oral examination, including x-rays, and determine your treatment history. Based on this information, we will design an individualized treatment plan and discuss the next steps.
Prevention and dental hygiene
Prevention is always easier, cheaper and more effective than treating the problems that have already arisen. That is why we pay special attention to prevention and dental hygiene in our office. Our dental hygienist will help you learn the proper technique for brushing your teeth. Dental hygiene is an essential part of regular dental care and therefore takes place twice a year, always before a preventive check-up.
Caries treatment
If decay has already formed on a tooth, we always choose a minimally invasive approach that spares it as much as possible and does not weaken it further. We work with magnifying optics and use high-quality and aesthetic photocomposite materials, where, unlike amalgam fillings, there is no need to unnecessarily drill away healthy tooth tissue and they are sufficiently mechanically resistant even in a thin layer. In addition, they look better.
Root canal treatment (endodontics)
When the decay is very deep, damage to the tooth pulp (tooth nerve) can occur. In this case, the root canals need to be treated. With this treatment, tooth extraction can be prevented. However, it is necessary that such treatment is precise and therefore we use magnifying optics and modern devices for electronic measurement of the length of the root canals, machine them and fill them.
Teeth with treated root canals tend to be very weakened and prone to breakage due to chewing forces, so they usually need to be treated with a semi-crown or crown.
This treatment is painless with local anaesthesia.
Prosthetic dentistry
We can easily and quickly resolve major dental defects with semi-crowns, crowns and bridges. Our office uses the CEREC Primescan 3D scanner, which perfectly captures the situation in the mouth, including the colours and structures of the tooth, without the need for unpleasant impressions. The digital 3D scan is then sent to a collaborating laboratory, where a trained technician creates a model in computer software and then moulds the crown or bridge from a very high quality and aesthetic material and then finishes it to perfection.
The biggest advantage of this approach is the precision on which the entire prosthetic tooth treatment is based and its durability.
The CEREC system also makes the whole process very fast and efficient.
Treatment of paediatric patients
Children are welcome and we will be happy to attend to them. However, you as a parent are responsible for the condition of your child's teeth, so it is important that we teach you how to care for them properly. Your child's first visit to the dentist should ideally take place around the age of one. The first visits are more of an exploratory visit. We will introduce the child to the practice, give them a ride in the chair and show them what is used for what and how. We check the condition of the teeth. As we want to be a family doctor, we require at least one parent to be in our care with the child.
Dental surgery
If the tooth cannot be saved or is a wisdom tooth, extraction may be necessary. Procedures are performed as gently as possible to make healing as efficient as possible.
With us, you don't have to worry. Surgical extractions are always performed with local anesthesia.
In our practice, we provide care that reflects current trends in dentistry. We use the highest quality materials and best practices without compromise. This approach, together with modern equipment and treatment time, determines the price of our services. The philosophy of health insurance companies differs significantly from our approach and you cannot expect quality treatment if you opt for the so-called "on insurance" option. Low or even zero costs incurred now will almost certainly mean higher costs later. The choice is, of course, yours.
